From Small Idea to Big Impact: Bricks Gathers Its Investors

In May, we had the pleasure of welcoming over 40 Bricks investors to The Folly at the Pig Hotel in Combe, a beautiful setting for a gathering that was far more than a lunch. It was a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate what we’ve built together.

Since 2014, the numbers tell a compelling story: 271 loans completed, £164 million deployed, and over £20 million in interest returned to our investors. But behind those figures are real outcomes: homes built, businesses supported, and opportunities created for people and projects that traditional finance too often overlooks.

It was a day to be proud of, and it ended on a fittingly personal note: a guided tour of the kitchen garden with the Head Gardener — a quiet reminder that the best things grow slowly, and with care.
