After 30 years of funding property developments through his bank, Paul Brinton, a director of East Devon Estates, was shocked when he was refused funding for a two-phase apartment development in North Tawton.
Paul said: “We met, got on well and did the deal quickly. They were very flexible in their approach and easy to deal with. I have found the cost of borrowing from Bricks competitive to the bank despite their rates being higher. We are not charged valuation fees, there are no exit charges and we have had the flexibility to draw down as and when we needed to.”
