We first considered the conversion of seven barns at Weston Farm, Higher Dawlish Water, in 2018. We liked the project and the professional team behind it, but back then it was a little too ambitious for us to fund. The Weston Farm team experienced a few false starts with other lenders and then Covid-19 hit. In July 2020 Bricks was asked to look at it again and with the growth of our loan book, we felt it would now fit our lending profile.
