Historic Lunches with our Investors
We have made it a tradition to host investor lunches in novel locations. This year we entertained 60 of our investors in the historic building of Tuckers Hall, Exeter, which was built in 1471 and is still owned by the Guild of Weavers, Fullers and Shearmen.
The Guild regulated the woollen cloth trade in Exeter, which made the city very wealthy and a centre for international trade. The woollen cloth trade thrived from the 1430s until the end of the 18th century, at times making Exeter the third richest city in the country.
We also hosted our first investor lunch in London at the glorious Midland Dining Room, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, where it was a treat to connect with friends who can’t so easily make our Devon venues.
